プロジェクト概要
OVERGROUNDは福岡市博多区美野島の約600㎡のコンクリート打ち放しの空間を舞台に、アーティスト・クリエイターの作品発表や実験的創作を行いながら、美術愛好家も混えて、人と人が自由に交流し思考できる場です。また、経済都市福岡のこれからの文化とは何かを問い続け、世界に向けて情報発信を行います。
OVERGROUND is a space of approximately 600㎡ bare concrete, located in the Hakata district of Fukuoka City, Japan. While presenting the works of artists and site specific experimental creations, this is a place where people freely will be able to exchange ideas and engage in a dialogue with local artists and art patrons. In tandem with these activities, efforts to nurture the cultural aspects of the financial city of Fukuoka and how it can communicate with other cities around the world, will be ongoing.
