1997年東京生まれ、福岡で活動をしている画家
「エイリアンちゃん」というマルチバースの次世代漫画を制作している。藤子・F・不二雄と球体関節人形の第一人者である四谷シモンに影響を受ける。幼少期に抱いていたサンリオやディズニーキャラクターへの憧れを、1990年代のジャパニーズポップと現代のモードとをリミックスした未来的なファンタジーの世界へと向ける。SIMONがアナログとデジタルの媒体を取り入れるのは、故郷の食卓でタブー視され続けている国民性やトランスジェンダー・アイデンティティに関連する、社会文化的境界を解消することへ執着していることと重なっている。

Born in Tokyo in 1997, he is a painter "Alien-chan" working in Fukuoka, Japan, creating the next generation of multiverse manga. Influenced by Fujiko F. Fujio and Simon Yotsuya, the leading figure drawing artist of spherically-articulated dolls. SIMON, who turns his childhood fascination with Sanrio and Disney characters into a futuristic fantasy world that remixes 1990s Japanese pop with contemporary modes, incorporates analog and digital mediums in his work, which is based on the national identity that continues to be taboo at his hometown's dinner table and SIMON's incorporation of analog and digital media coincides with his obsession with dissolving the socio-cultural boundaries associated with transgender identity, which continues to be taboo at his hometown table.
