「ロンリー・パンク」は、写真家のナタナエル・モスとイラストレーター,画家のシモンの共同プロジェクトである。これらの作品は、社会的規範と表現の自由を精巧に表現し、疎外感、順応性、個人のアイデンティティの多様性と流動性といったテーマを探求している。シモンの漫画にインスパイアされたエイリアンのキャラクターは、愛らしく親しみやすく見えるが、社会との断絶や、国民性やトランスジェンダーのアイデンティティといった物議を醸すテーマについての議論を誘発することを目的としている。モスの肖像画は、独特なスタイルでユニークな個人を捉えており、不適合者や不適合者への賛辞であり、「フリーク」のレッテルを貼られた個人にスペースを提供している。モスのポートレートは、型にはまったレッテルではなく、文化的・美的価値観によって定義された部族に属することの価値を強調している。両作家とも、より深い人間的なつながりについての議論を引き起こし、ユニークなアイデンティティを受け入れ、「エイリアン」という言葉の再評価を促すことを目的としている。シモンとモスによって生み出された世界は、あらゆる表現を受け入れ、尊重し、感謝することを促す物語の星座を含んでいる。

"Lonely Punk" is a collaborative project between Nathanael Moss, a photographer, and Simon, an illustrator and painter. These works elaborate on societal norms and freedom of expression, exploring themes of alienation, conformity as well as diversity and fluidity in personal identity. Simon's manga inspired alien characters appear lovable and friendly, yet aim to provoke discussions on societal disconnection and controversial topics like national and transgender identities. Moss's portraits capture unique individuals with a distinct style, a tribute to misfits, non-conformists and offering a space for individuals labelled as 'freaks'. Moss's portraits emphasize value in belonging to a tribe defined by cultural and aesthetic values rather than conventional labels. Both artists aim to provoke discussions on deeper human connections and embrace unique identities, urging a reassessment of the term 'alien'. The worlds that have been brought into being by Simon and Moss contain a constellation of stories that encourage acceptance, respect and appreciation for all forms of expression.
