【作家プロフィール】

Simon

1997年生まれ。東京生まれ、福岡で活動をしている画家

「エイリアンちゃん」というマルチバースの次世代漫画を制作している。

藤子・F・不二雄と球体関節人形の第一人者である四谷シモンに影響を受ける。

幼少期に抱いていたサンリオやディズニーキャラクターへの憧れを、1990年代のジャパニーズポップと現代のモードとをリミックスした未来的なファンタジーの世界へと向ける。SIMONがアナログとデジタルの媒体を取り入れるのは、故郷の食卓でタブー視され続けている国民性やトランスジェンダー・アイデンティティに関連する、社会文化的境界を解消することへ執着していることと重なっている。

Creates a next-generation manga in the multiverse called "Alien-chan."Influenced by Fujiko F. Fujio and Simon Yotsuya, a leading figure in spherical jointed dolls.

SIMON's incorporation of analog and digital media coincides with his obsession with dissolving socio-cultural boundaries related to national identity and transgender identity that continue to be taboo at his hometown table.
